SEAIT TRIUMPHS AS PRISAA-SCKAA ’19 CHAMPION FOR SPORTS

South East Asian Institute of Technology, Inc. (SEAIT) was announced as an over-all champion for sports during the Local Private Institutions Sports and Athletic Association - South Cotabato Koronadal Athletic Association (PRISAA-SCKAA held at Notre Dame of Marbel University last January 18-19.

The said activity strengthens the theme,” Sustaining Filipino Athletes for Global Competitiveness”, the athletes made their way and proved themselves to be called champions in the sports arena after winning gold in several events such as baseball, tennis, track and field and chess competitions.

Moreover, Mr. Antonio Aguilar, the City Sports Coordinator, left an inspirational message which contains the secret on how to be a productive athlete.

“Take every competition as an opportunity rather than a competition.” Aguilar said.

In Socio-Cultural competition, schools compete in various events such as folk dance, hip-hop, dance sports, cheer dance, oration, vocal solo and duet and chorale competition where SEAIT landed as over-all second (2nd) placer.

This year’s event was participated by 10 different schools including South East Asian Institute of Technology, Inc. (SEAIT), St. Alexius College, STI Marbel, Golden State College Koronadal, Green Valley College Foundation, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges (RMMC), King’s College of Marbel, Marbel School of Science and Technology, Holy Child College of Information Technology,Inc. (HCCIT), and Notre Dame of Marbel University(NDMU).

According to Jestoni P. Palate, MBA-HM, “Sportsmanship, unity and camaraderie has been the highlight of the PRISAA-SCKAA 2019 and it definitely show that the private institutions in South Cotabato-Koronadal area, exhibits the strength of humanity, the thirst for excellence together with their finest brainpower, and the spirit of teamwork.”
