The Business Administration: Marketing Concentration provides students with a solid broad-based foundation in the areas in the functional areas of marketing, finance, accounting, and management; an understanding of the business environment to include the legal, economic, behavioral, human resource, ethical, and international aspect; technical skills in information systems and quantitative analysis; and the ability to communicate, integrate, and synthesize.
The curriculum focuses on the consumer who seen more as a partner in the development and growth of any business. The major offers the skills necessary to be an effective market analyst and to build integrated marketing strategies by making efficient and effective use of various digital tools. The course also focuses on strategic marketing issues which marketing managers assess before findings are presented to their executives. The program will provide opportunities to go beyond the classroom. Feasibility studies will require field work and interviews with customers in projected target markets. The curriculum was based on CHED Memorandum No 39 series of 2006.
